Project Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Pride Staff is working with a local business who is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers to ensure all submittals, documentations, coordination, and materials for all projects are completed and organized in a timely manner. The ideal Project Engineer has multiple years of experience in a similar role, demonstrates superb communication and organizational skills, along with solid knowledge and experience with AutoCAD.

The Project Engineer is a full time, in-office, temp to hire/direct hire position in Fresno, CA.

• Coordinate Between Project Manager & Estimators Regarding All Project Hand-Off’s
• Prepare Meeting Minutes For All Project Hand-Off’s, Field Coordination & Pre-Con & Post-Con Meetings
• Produce Shop & Fabrication Drawings For All Projects
• Review The Manufacturer’s Shop Drawings to Ensure They Meet The Project Specifications
• Review All Updated Project Plans & Specs & Identify Any Scope Changes
• Communicate Any Changes to The Project Manager
• Provide Project Team Contact List to General Contractor For Every New Project Awarded
• Maintain Job Files as Directed by The Project Manager
• Prepare RFI’s Throughout The Life Cycle of The Project
• Attend All Project Meetings & Production or Project Status
• Act as a Liaison With Vendors in Such Areas as Material Ordering, Delivering Coordination & Paperwork
• Prepare With The Help of The Project Manager, Crane Picks as Required For The Project
• Review & Understand The Scopes For All Projects to Assist in Better Field Coordination Meetings With Other Trades
• Assist Project Manager in Material Ordering as Needed

Project Engineer

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• AA Degree Required, Bachelor’s Preferred
• Solid Computer Knowledge With AutoCAD Experience Required
• Must be Able to Read & Interpret Documents & Project Specifications Including Safety Rules
• Must Have Strong Math Skills Including Algebra, Geometry, & be Able to Read a Tape Measure
• Must be Able to Interpret Concepts & Drawing With Limited Information
• Demonstrates Excellent Communication Both Written & Orally
• Demonstrates Superb Analytical & Problem Solving Skills
• Leads With Integrity & Clear Communication
