Senior Transportation Project Manager – Fresno, CA
Dewberry is seeking a senior transportation project manager in our Fresno, CA office. The successful candidate will work on all phases of transportation projects primarily for Caltrans and other public agencies, and will mentor and manage the Fresno staff. Projects may include roadway widenings, roundabouts, bridge projects, drainage systems, trails, utility relocations, and preparation of contract documents.
ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will establish client contacts, manage technical and managerial tasks, and implement business strategy to develop new client work and maintain existing client relationships. The role requires strong communication and management skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
Required Experience & Skills- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Ability to work in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.
- Effective communication with clients, coworkers, subconsultants, and county/agency review staff.
- Ability to compose technical reports, memorandums, and other written communications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of local clients between Bakersfield and Merced preferred.

Salary RangeThe projected range for this position is $175,000-$200,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
