Project Closeout Manager

$200,000–$240,000 expected salary, depending upon experience.

TPZP, a Tutor Perini joint venture company, has been selected to execute the California High‑Speed Rail – Construction Package 1 (CP‑1). TPZP is seeking a Project Closeout Manager for the project in Fresno, CA.

The CP‑1 construction area is a 32‑mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County and East American Avenue in Fresno County, including major work elements in downtown Fresno. It includes 12 roadway/railroad grade separations, two mainline viaducts, one tunnel, realignments of existing railroad tracks, utility relocations, roadway relocations, two trench sections, and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River.

• Lead all project closeout activities to ensure timely and successful completion of contract requirements.
• Produce monthly owner billings.
• Schedule updates aligned with closeout milestones.
• Manage and report on closeout milestones.
• Audit and close out time & materials change orders.
• Lead final owner acceptance and handover.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve closeout items.

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar technical discipline preferred.
• 10 or more years of construction experience on civil infrastructure or transit projects.
• Previous experience in project closeout activities.
• Experience on construction projects exceeding $500M in value.
• Experience as a project controls manager.
