Overview
Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension
Hybrid schedule on site 2x/week + site visits as needed
A Project Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and delivering electric utility projects—taking concepts and turning them into real, buildable infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Owns technical delivery from concept to construction
- Perform engineering analysis, design, and technical studies
- Develop designs, specifications, and documentation
- Partner with project managers and construction teams
- Support design reviews and site walkdowns
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Ensure work meets codes, standards, and safety requirements
Across all levels and disciplines, Project Engineers are expected to:
- Own technical work (to some degree based on level)
- Work independently with accountability
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Use engineering judgment to solve problems
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- 3+ years of experience
- PLS-CADD experience (or at least exposure)
