Environmental Manager

Judge Direct Placement is seeking an Environmental Manager in Fresno, CA area!

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor environmental performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support facility leadership with environmental compliance programs and guidance.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions.
• Manage environmental training programs and promote regulatory awareness.
• Oversee contractors and environmental consultants to ensure compliance standards are met.
• Maintain environmental databases, records, and compliance documentation.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and spill response activities.
• Track regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance updates.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
• Provide environmental expertise, training, and best practice support across facilities.
• Support wastewater treatment compliance and environmental maintenance programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental management, manufacturing operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must possess strong computer skills and the ability to effectively utilize environmental compliance databases and reporting systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, influence stakeholders across all organizational levels, foster teamwork, think creatively, and drive innovation.
