Job Details
Our company, a leading player in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounting Manager to join our team. We need a professional with a strong background in accounting and financial management, who can handle the dynamic financial needs of our rapidly growing company. This is a full-time, permanent position and provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where teamwork and collaboration are highly valued.
Responsibilities
Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, P&L reports, and monthly closing activities.Managing the company's general ledger and ensuring all financial reporting is compliant with state and federal regulations.Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial transactions and reports.Developing and implementing effective financial strategies, controls, and processes to enhance the overall financial performance of the company.Collaborating with senior management to make informed financial decisions that align with the company's strategic goals.Managing and mentoring the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.Keeping abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness of the company's accounting policies and procedures.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role, preferably in the construction industry.Proven experience in managing a general ledger, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and conducting audits.In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.Strong proficiency in using accounting software and other financial management tools.Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of an organization.This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional looking to take their career to the next level.
