The opportunity is for a VP, Relationship Manager, Middle Market Commercial Real Estate Lending in Central & Northern California, sourcing opportunities, underwriting, and managing credit facilities with a focus on owner-occupied real estate and working capital needs.

Responsibilities- Source opportunities and establish new relationships, while nurturing existing ones.
- Analyze commercial lending opportunities including working capital lines of credit, term loans to businesses, and owner-occupied real estate loans.
- Perform borrower/guarantor balance sheet and cash flow analyses to determine appropriate credit facilities and terms.
- Gather information and prepare credit displays and investment analyses for review by department managers and credit administrators.
- Guide credit requests through review by division managers and senior credit reviewers; assist loan administration through the closing process.
- Maintain ongoing analyses to monitor borrower/guarantor credit quality and collateral value; support processing and closing of credit facilities with loan administration and legal counsel.
- Stay informed of market trends and maintain a network of referral sources.
- Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions; prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations and career development activities; manage and train team members; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in commercial lending, including valuation, asset management, and financial analysis.
- B.A. degree in finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge and adherence to applicable state and federal regulations (e.g., TILA, ECOA, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/AML, CIP, RFPA, CRA).
- General knowledge of loan documentation, collateral analysis, and financial statement review.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and tools (Word, Excel, Argus); familiarity with Moody’s analysis systems and nCino is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

The base salary is determined by education, experience, training, and market data.
