Tax Manager

• Manage accurate preparation and timely submission of corporate income, state, and local tax returns.
• Formulate and execute legal tax-saving strategies to reduce financial liabilities and support corporate goals.
• Handle government tax audits, respond to inquiries, and gather required documentation.
• Advise senior executives on the tax implications of business investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Track changes in tax legislation and update internal financial processes accordingly.
• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate junior tax accountants and staff members.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• Professional certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Enrolled Agent (EA).
• 4 to 10 years of progressive tax accounting or compliance experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, or individual tax returns.
• Background in managing direct and indirect tax audits, computations, and provisions

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $150,000 annually
. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
