Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Histology Technologist to support the Fresno VA Medical Center located at 2615 East Clinton Avenue, Fresno, CA 93703. Employment with Ansible is subject to schedule changes at the discretion of Ansible or its clients.

Responsibilities
- Stain slides using routine, immuno, and special stains
- Prepare various complex stained slides
- Perform delicate tissue tests and sectioning with a microtome
- Conduct multiple tissue stainings with precise timing and counter staining
- Cover slip slides and prepare tissues for electron microscopy
- Label slides for microscopic examination
- Maintain records, handle patient specimens, and manage inquiries
- Perform additional duties related to histology technology as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution
- ASCP or equivalent histology certification
- Minimum of three years of recent experience in histology
- Experience in U.S. Government facilities preferred
- No sponsorship available
Pay Range: $37.41 - $56 hourly
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs regularly
- Carry up to 40 lbs
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
