Gurnick Academy is currently seeking a NCLEX Coordinator, VN Nursing Program at our Fresno, CA Campus. This is an on-campus position at our Fresno Campus.

Annual Salary Range
, Full-time: $89,000 – $105,000
Requirements
- Current and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
- A baccalaureate degree or master’s degree from an accredited college or university that includes course work in nursing, natural, behavioral or social sciences relevant to nursing practice as defined in CCR Section 1425(d)
- Three (3) years of continuous experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care within the last 5 years
- Teaching experience is preferred
- Preferred knowledge of the educational process at other institutions
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse student body, staff, faculty, and administrators
Basic Function
The primary function of the NCLEX and Student Retention Coordinator requires a working knowledge of advising, retention, and student success strategies. Knowledge of the mission and philosophy of the school of nursing is important. The position requires a collaborative partnership with the VN Program Director, VN Staff and Faculty, and Student Services Department.
