Overview
We are seeking a Menu Coordinator to join our team! Compensation: USD $21.00 - USD $22.97 per hour.
Location / EmployerFresno, California. Vibra Healthcare – San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, 7173 N Sharon Avenue.
Hospital DetailsSan Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital is a 62‑bed acute rehab hospital providing rehabilitative services to patients recovering from injuries or illnesses. We help patients regain physical or cognitive abilities to return home at the highest level of independence.
Responsibilities- Prepare patient choice menu tray tickets for patient trays, and maintain the diet list, snack list, and online menu program.
- Pick up patient choice menus and assist patients as needed.
- Assist on tray line and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of experience in a healthcare dietary setting in lieu of education will be considered.
- Food handling certification as required by state regulations.
- Minimum two years of healthcare dietary work experience required.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and diet knowledge preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
