An established orthopedic practice in Fresno, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full‑time role working with a sports med surgeon. Candidates will assist in surgery, see patients in clinic and on the floor. Monday‑Friday schedule.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient and first assist services
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their family members
- Promote good health practices
- Active California state license or ability to obtain
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
