Overview
We are recruiting for a PACE Center Director for the new PACE-Fulton Fresno location.
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer, oversees and manages the daily clinical operations of the PACE program including operations of the day center, clinic, physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreation, home care and dietary services. This includes ensuring that appropriate personnel are trained and perform their functions within the organization. Duties include assuring that operational standards and budgetary criteria are met.
As well as ensures operations are in compliance with all governing regulations.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works closely with the PACE Medical Director and other members of the management team to:
- Ensure PACE Center andpatientserviceprocedures&protocols in compliance with state and federal PACE center regulations.
- Oversees and participates in site review inspections, audits, and correction of deficiencies with PACE Medical Director, Director of Clinical Services ,Qualityimprovementand Clinical Services Officer .
- Provideguidanceandoversightofthe PACEcenteroperations.
- Coaches and mentors PACE center management personnel.
- Assesses
PACE centeroperationstoidentifyadministrativeandprocessissues. - Workscloselywiththe PACE Medical Director and Director of Clinical Servicestoidentifyclinicalissues .
- Assistsinpreparationofandoversightof the PACE centerbudgets.
- Attendsoutsidemeetingsandrepresents
UHCatpublicandprofessionalmeetingsand conferences as required. - Willcoordinateandparticipatein PACE outreach and PACEmarketingprogram.

PERFORMANCE AREA 1: PACE Center Performance
:
Responsible for working with the PACE center management team, executive, and senior leadership teams on the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.
- In conjunction with the Executive Director is responsible for maintaining compliance with all state and federal program requirements, obtaining and maintain certification under Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as well as any other state or federal law or rules.
- Assesses
PACE centeroperationstoidentifyadministrativeissuesandwillworkcloselywith clinicalleadershiptoidentifyclinicalissuesandwillrecommendpotentialsolutionsaimedat improving patient and staff satisfaction. - Monitor PACE Center employee fulfillment of job description and compliance with PACE regulations.
- Recommends staffing levels of PACE center staff to be employed, participates in their recruitment, interviewing, and selection, and recommends termination of employment when necessary.
- Organize a structured schedule for new PACE employees to be introduced to all departments within PACE and to complete initial job competencies.
- Participates, gives feedback, and provides verbal and written counseling as necessary when job duties, program regulations, and organization regulations are not followed.
- Review and approved PACE Center employee annual performance reviews.
- Approve PTO, payroll and mileage sheets for assigned staff.
- Provide direct supervision to assigned staff.
- Coordinate and facilitate center activities including care planning and implementation, preparation for interdisciplinary/daily meeting, family conferences and related follow up.
- Responsible for management and supervision of all PACE Center disciplines to include RN’s, LVN’s, Dietary, Activities, and Home Health Aids.
- Documents relevant information in the patient chart as needed.
- Serves as liaison between individual program disciplines, other PACE departments and community service providers; as well as between administration and direct care staff.
- Works with Chief Administrative Officer to manage the PACE Center’s budget.
- Assist intake staff in coordination of activities related to the new participant enrollment process, including the assessment and care plan review meetings.
