Service Line Director (Fresno, CA)

Kings View is a nonprofit leader in providing behavioral health services to the underserved community and is currently seeking a Service Line Director to join our mission to provide compassionate services to those with limited resources.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion to promote social justice and societal awareness, respect for human dignity, and lead with integrity while listening and responding to the community in need.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports program through attendance at managed care plan, county, and regional meetings and trainings for system of care improvement.
  • Be accountable for quality improvement, staff development, and promote appropriate and effective care through established monitoring systems, program revisions and professional staff growth.
  • Ensure care provided is consistent with Kings View philosophy and meets current standards for quality of care, eligibility criteria, and outcome measurement as defined by managed care plans and accrediting and oversight bodies.
  • Develop and execute operational goals, objectives, initiatives, and action plans to achieve outcomes by identifying and monitoring key service line targets and metrics.
  • Communicate directly with leadership and occasionally with patients via telephone, telehealth, or during care conference meetings (as needed) to discuss medication management/adherence and ensure appropriate follow‑up with providers.
  • Develop and execute daily operations of the assigned service line, administer budget, hire and manage staff, and oversee ongoing program operations and processes.
  • Support state and federal requirements by ensuring current program policies and IT platforms are compliant.
  • Recommend process and performance improvement metrics and deliverables, and lead execution of process and performance activities.
  • Collaborate with team members, defining and monitoring staff roles, productivity, and relationships to achieve maximum results.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders in service line, care coordination, and case management processes to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, foster teamwork, and champion service excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field (Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, etc.) required.
  • Driver’s license:
    Class

    C.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manager in a healthcare setting, which may include behavioral health and/or social service fields working with adults, children/youth, and families.
  • Experience in financial management, program development, personnel management, project management, and quality management.
  • Advanced working knowledge of the healthcare industry, including regional needs, workflow design, budgetary oversight, payer collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners toward a common goal.
  • Innovative leader with strong program development skills and background in community‑based programming.
  • Master’s degree in Health Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred (may substitute two years of supervisory experience).
  • Board of Behavioral Sciences license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) preferred.
