Sante Health System is looking to hire a full‑time Insurance Follow‑Up / Patient Collections position responsible for insurance and patient balance follow‑up, aging reports and customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or GED certificate required
- Necessary 3 years medical billing experience
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC coding
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Required knowledge of Medicare, Medi Cal|DHCS, PPO, HMO, Workers' Compensation and Private Pay billing
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of ICP-10, CPT and HCPC coding
- Working knowledge of billing regulations for Medi Cal|DHCS, PPO, HMO, Workers' Compensation and Medicare
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality regulations
- Professional telephone etiquette
