The Hospitality team of The Vineyards | California Armenian Home creates unforgettable long‑term care experiences for our diverse senior population. Summary: Performs cleaning tasks of resident rooms, offices, dining rooms, general areas, bathrooms, etc. to ensure the cleanliness of the facility.

Qualifications: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Must be able to follow instructions and directions. Must be able to use equipment needed to perform the duties.

Education: High School preferred

Licenses/Certifications: None required

Experience

Required:

Previous health care setting experience preferred

• Daily cleaning of resident rooms, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, dusting of all surfaces, cleaning restrooms.
• Deep cleaning of rooms according to deep cleaning schedule.
• Deep cleaning of rooms upon resident discharge to prepare room for availability.
• Cleaning of office, nursing stations, dining rooms, guest restrooms, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, dusting, etc.
• Window washing per schedule.
• Responsible for keeping all chemicals and cleaning agents properly labeled, in proper containers for resident safety and according to State and Federal regulations.
• Must attend all applicable In‑service Education and staff meetings.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to work in a busy environment.
• Must be patient and use excellent customer service with residents, family members and visitors at all times.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all departments.
