Human Resources Generalist

Overview

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST position with a construction company in Fresno. You will work closely with the HR Director and team to help develop, implement, and execute HR initiatives. You will be required to have a strong understanding of all core HR functions and the ability to oversee and manage processes.

Key responsibilities include executing personnel policies and procedures, process improvement, support for leave management, talent acquisition, recruitment, training and development initiatives, employee relations, confidentiality, short-term projects, and more.

• Execute personnel policies and procedures and help oversee HR processes.
• Support leave management and compliance with applicable laws.
• Lead talent acquisition and recruitment efforts.
• Develop and implement training and development initiatives.
• Foster positive employee relations and maintain confidentiality.
• Contribute to process improvement projects and special assignments as needed.

• Competitive pay range

• Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a construction environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other HRIS systems.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Very strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with thorough HR process knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
