We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist with approximately 4 years of experience to support and execute core HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys balancing operational execution with strategic initiatives, and is passionate about building positive employee experiences.
The base salary range for this role is $70,000–$80,000 in Fresno, CA and $90,000–$110,000 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses and benefits.
Responsibilities- Support full-cycle HR processes including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and welfare.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in implementing HR programs and initiatives such as engagement, learning & development, and more.
- Partner with managers to address performance concerns, conflict resolution, and workplace issues.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS data management.
- Help drive recruitment efforts including interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer processes.
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- +4 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced and global organization.
- Strong knowledge of HR fundamentals, employment law basics, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft/Google productivity tools.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting multi-state and global teams.
- Background in tech, startup, or scaling environments.
- Experience analyzing HR data and generating insights.
