Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join a client's team in California. This position is essential for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. The HR Assistant will manage employee records, assist with recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processing, while also serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries. The role requires maintaining HRIS data, scheduling interviews, coordinating benefits, and ensuring confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Maintaining personnel records, processing paperwork, and managing HR files.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Posting job openings, scheduling interviews, performing background checks, and coordinating new hire orientation.
- Payroll & Benefits: Assisting with payroll preparation, data entry, and answering employee questions regarding benefits.
- Employee Relations: Addressing employee questions and supporting performance management procedures.
- Data Management: Ensuring accuracy in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and generating reports.

Skills:
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience with HRIS software.
- Confidentiality: Strong ethical standards for handling sensitive information.
- Experience/
Education:
Typically requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or 1-2 years of experience.
Monday through Friday, 1st shift.
BenefitsCompetitive pay ranging from $20 to $25 per hour.
