Overview of the Payroll Administrator Role:

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule for employees across multiple locations
  • Manage payroll calculations including deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax with holdings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and employee records
  • Prepare wage summaries detailing earnings, taxes, deductions, benefits, and retirement contributions
  • Assist with payroll tax calculations, filings, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally and efficiently
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Experience processing multi-location or multi-state payroll is a plus
