Systems Administrator, IT Project Manager
Department of Social Services is currently offering an outstanding career opportunity for experienced, driven information technology professionals who would like to further their career as an Information Technology Division Manager
. This position requires knowledge of social services programs, the ability to lead and complete deliverables through a team of professional technology staff, and an ability to understand and communicate technology needs of program staff.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate division programs, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and supervise the staff and activities of the Information Technology Division.
- Provide state‑wide system support and maintenance.
- Develop and implement ancillary solutions to support program service delivery and manage workload.
- Perform data analytics and reporting.
- Ensure security of global applications, infrastructure, and data.
- Design, configure, and maintain operating system software for server, storage, and workstation products and services.
- Maintain asset inventory.
- Ensure software compliance.
This is an in‑office position.

Skills and Abilities
.
Possession of a bachelor's degree that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system.
ExperienceThree (3) years of full‑time, paid supervisory or managerial work experience over information technology staff in an information technology environment.
SubstitutionPossession of a master's degree that is acceptable within the United States' accredited college or university system may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
LicensePossession of a valid Class C driver's license, or equivalent, may be required.
OtherAs a condition of employment, selected candidates will be required to undergo and pass a background investigation, which may include a Live Scan.

Pursuant to Fresno County Personnel Rule 4 - Selection Process, applicants may be required to complete an examination process and successful candidates will be placed on an employment list effective for a minimum of 3 months and certified in final rank order as vacancies occur.
