Cybersecurity Researcher (Remote / SF Bay Area)

We’re developing the next generation of enterprise cybersecurity and looking for a Cybersecurity Researcher to help us push the boundaries of threat analysis, vulnerability investigation, detection engineering and more! You’ll work at the intersection of AI, agentic systems, and your own deep curiosity for security.

We’re a well‑funded AI startup ($25M seed round) in the San Francisco Bay Area, led by serial entrepreneurs with decades of success in cybersecurity (achieving > $3B valuations). We have paying customers and are partnering with Fortune 500 companies on a mission to transform the cybersecurity landscape with cutting‑edge AI, including AI agents and Generative AI.

As one of our first Cybersecurity Researchers, you’ll shape how modern cybersecurity systems think and act. Your work will drive AI models that automate analyst workflows. From prioritizing exposures to keeping the security stack up to date in real time, your research will power defenses that operate at machine speed—so humans can focus on what matters most.

• Advance AI Capabilities:
  Partner with AI/ML teams to integrate your findings into agent‑based models, product logic, and features that enhance customer‑facing solutions.
• Produce Actionable Research:
  Focus on delivering detailed technical writeups, proofs of concept, and real‑world results—leaving the fluff and buzzwords behind.

• 5‑7 years minimum of hands‑on experience in security research, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, red teaming, or detection engineering.
• Experience with TVM, XDR, SIEM, or detection pipelines (e.g., Sigma, YARA, or custom rules).
• Bonus:
  Experience collaborating with AI teams, or building research systems that scale.
