Our Opportunity

We seek a Ph.D. level Data Engineering Focused Consultant for our Data Sciences Practice in Irvine, CA or Los Angeles, CA. You will design and develop data-driven applications across various industries, defining your consulting practice based on your skills and interests.

Responsibilities include:

• Converting prototypes into production applications
• Integrating and curating data for research and analytics
• Designing scalable data pipelines
• Serving as a database and storage solutions expert
• Implementing security best practices
• Supporting data provenance and quality
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field with software development experience
• Experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, data modeling, or database administration
• Proficiency in Python (3+ years), with experience in other languages like PySpark, R, MATLAB, or Java
• Experience with Power BI or similar dashboard tools is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams

USD $133,000 - $145,000 per year.
