Technology Support Specialist
Central Unified School District, Fresno, California. Position to provide technical support for student information systems.
Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the assigned supervisor, perform setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, technical support, and repair on user‑based systems on local area networks, including server support. Diagnose networked microcomputer hardware and specialized operating systems, including desktop platforms, mobile platforms, and cloud‑based platforms. Provide basic technical support and help functions related to servers and networks.
Education and ExperienceTwo years of college‑level coursework in microcomputer hardware and software components, microcomputer operating systems, and data communications software; or one year of such coursework plus two years of related job training or experience. Additional experience may substitute for higher education.
Licenses and Certifications- A+ certification
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Network+ certification (preferred)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (preferred).
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
Full‑time, $33.58 to $40.89 per hour.
