Cable Technician
–Fresno, CA

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Cable Technician in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be providing IT support to a variety of client sites, predominantly major retail firms. Your work will involve some travel and onsite work within a 1-hour driving radius.

• Ensure optimal functionality of routers and switches
• Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues related to MDF/IDF, VOIP, or cabling
• Manage the installation, troubleshooting, escalating, or maintaining hardware or software issues
• Handle surveillance and security systems, including cameras and access control setups
• Respond to tickets through a ticketing system and provide onsite response when required
• Document the triage process and organize project planning for future work
• Leverage your knowledge of access control, broadband, Cisco technologies, data networks, Apple devices, and cable television for effective problem-solving
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional customer-facing experience and technical support

• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role as a Cable Technician
• Proficiency in Access Control
• Hands‑on experience with Broadband
• Proficiency in utilizing Cisco Technologies
• Solid understanding of Data Networks
• Experience with Apple Devices (highly desirable)
• Proven track record in Cable Installation
• Expertise in Cable Television
