Law Clerk - Cuttone & Associates; Fresno

Busy firm seeking second, third or fourth year student(s) to fill a law clerk position working with an experienced civil litigator whose practice consists of business and real property civil litigation cases and transactional work. The position requires the candidate to handle preparing motions, discovery, research, trial preparation and investigation duties as well as interacting with clients. The candidate must be a highly skilled at research and writing, well organized and sensitive to a fast-paced work environment where there are multiple deadlines.

The position will begin as part time and may advance to full time.

• Research legal issues
• Draft motions, complaints and discovery requests for attorney review
• Participate in attorney/client meetings; law and motion; and trial experience for Certified Law Clerks.

Applicant must be disciplined and organized, be a team player and have good people skills.
