Civil Litigation Attorney

A well-known law firm with multiple locations across California is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its Fresno office. This role focuses on civil litigation matters, including a insurance defense component, and offers the opportunity to work on a diverse and steady caseload within a highly respected firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil litigation background or insurance defense experience.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense to be considered for this opportunity.

• Handle a broad range of civil litigation matters, including insurance defense cases
• Manage files from intake through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and hearings
• Draft and argue motions and participate in mediations and settlement conferences
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across multiple offices and practice groups

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and case-management skills
• Ability to manage an active caseload with minimal supervision
• Professional courtroom presence and strong client communication skills
• Base salary: $110,000 – $160,000, depending on experience
