A respected logistics and transportation company in Fresno, CA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Dispatch Clerk to support fast-paced carrier dispatch, scheduling, customer communication, and shipment coordination. The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in supporting carriers, customers, and internal dispatch teams while helping maintain reliable transportation and delivery processes.

• Coordinate and dispatch carriers to support daily logistics and transportation operations.
• Communicate with carriers and customers by phone to confirm availability, build relationships, and support service needs.
• Manage schedules, shipment details, and delivery timelines in a fast-paced office environment.
• Track shipments, verify carrier information, and help ensure accurate and timely delivery processes.
• Provide professional customer service and dispatch support to resolve questions, delays, and operational updates.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines, customer commitments, and service expectations.

• Pay: $24 per hour, approximately $50,000 annually.
• Full benefits package.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant logistics, transportation, dispatch, routing, scheduling, or related experience.
• Strong phone communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls to carriers and customers to build business relationships.
• Ability to stay organized while handling competing priorities and time-sensitive updates.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in an in-office team environment.

• Experience working with carrier networks, freight coordination, or third-party transportation operations.
• Prior experience in vehicle dispatch, routing, scheduling, or shipment coordination.
• Ability to identify sales or revenue opportunities through carrier and customer interactions.
• Familiarity with logistics software, dispatch systems, or transportation management tools.
