General Manager- Private Membership Club

A recently opened private dining and social Club seeks a dedicated General Manager to oversee all aspects of operations, staff/member experience, and financials. Responsibilities include maintaining and reporting on fiscal health, ensuring the satisfaction of club members, maintaining a positive employment environment, overseeing the club’s marketing campaigns, and ensuring quality and efficiency across Food and Beverage outlets to include event execution.

The ideal candidate possesses charisma, strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication, creativity and a keen eye for detail. (California residents strongly preferred).

• Manage and oversee all club operations
• Ensure member satisfaction by handling inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly
• Recruit, train, and supervise club staff
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and contracts
• Plan and coordinate club events and functions
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new members
• Ensure all legal and safety guidelines are followed
• Monitor club facilities and equipment and arrange for repairs when necessary
• Communicate with members regarding services, fees, and member needs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• 5-10 years  proven success as a Club Manager or similar role in upscale/luxury environment
• Strong understanding of membership/club management procedures
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong financial and facilities management
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and club management software
• Ability to handle the physical demands, including long period of standing/walking
• BS degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or relevant field
