ABOUT THE JOB
Working closely and in tandem with the VP, PCG, this role is responsible for managing a portfolio within the PCG program, including commercial initiatives, events and engagement, and client relations. This position will oversee the Western U.S. portfolio, while the VP, PCG will be responsible for coverage of the Eastern U.S. portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/THE DAY-TO-DAY
Client Portfolio & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of ultra-high net worth PCG members and prospective collectors in the Western U.S.
Build long-term relationships rooted in trust, credibility, discretion, and exceptional service.
Support retention, recruitment, and sustained growth of the PCG community.
Maintain disciplined CRM practices and develop detailed UHNW client profiles through ongoing research, engagement tracking, and insight-driven segmentation to deepen personalization, strengthen retention, and identify strategic growth opportunities.
Commercial Strategy & Sales Execution
Develop and execute a regionally tailored PCG sales and engagement strategy.
Deliver against budgeted sales turnover, profitability goals, and key brand health metrics.
Support 8-10 annual curated PCG offerings across the world-class producers in the Wilson Daniels portfolio.
Events, Experiences & Collector Engagement
Plan, market, and host marquee PCG events, including winery principal visits, portfolio showcases, and collector-focused collaborations.
Design and execute international collector trips, featuring immersive programming in key wine regions with cultural and culinary integration.
Represent Wilson Daniels with confidence and polish in all client-facing settings.
Winery & Principal Partnerships
Maintain strong working relationships with winery principals and strategic suppliers.
Ensure alignment between producer objectives and PCG commercial and experiential initiatives.
Serve as a brand ambassador, communicating the Wilson Daniels message with consistency and authority.
Represent the Wilson Daniels portfolio through event hosting, personal introductions, and client-facing engagements, delivering a confident, credible, and consistent brand message.

AM I THE RIGHT FIT?
Not everyone can be a Private Client Group Manager. To be seriously considered for the role here is what you'll bring:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in ultra-fine wine sales or collectible luxury markets (auction, private client advisory, specialty retail, importer, or collector networks).
Demonstrated success executing high-touch, white-glove client experiences.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and objection-handling ability.
Strong analytical and organizational discipline; comfort managing a high-value client book.
Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Diver preferred.
Familiarity with Business Central and/or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
Italian proficiency preferred;
French a plus.
Physical requirements:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Lifting and carrying: this role may involve lifting and carrying product samples, promotional materials, or demonstration equipment up to 50 lbs.
Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
