Carwash Site Leader

Sun Day expects all Site Leaders to embody Sun Day culture by leading with warmth and kindness in interactions with customers and colleagues, and taking the lead in creating the positive, up-beat environment our customers and Team Members can feel. The Site Leader will ensure the Sun Day way is executed by all Team Members at all times. We expect Site Leaders to lead by example, greeting customers with warmth, energy and enthusiasm, and to lead our team in providing a level of service that exceeds expectations.

We rely on our Site Leaders to ensure that Team Members set up our customers to have fun and leave the carwash feeling a sense of pride and renewal. Site Leaders will empower our Team Members to find ways to make each customer’s day.

• Build and Lead an Effective Team:
  Hire, train, develop and coach on-site team, working beside them to model the Sun Day culture, provide exceptional hospitality to customers, and drive sales and membership sign-ups.
• Motivate:
  Lead teams through critical areas of performance.
  
  Identify problems and take prompt corrective action. Encourage individual accountability and commitment to achieving the company mission: to bring out the best of the carwash by injecting modern technology to offer up a unique and memorable carwash experience.
• Meet Performance Goals:
  Lead operations of your Sun Day Carwash facility to meet goals and deadlines set by the Operations Leadership Team.
• Maintain Excellent Facilities:
  Monitor and manage your Sun Day Carwash facility, equipment and inventories to ensure that all are safe, organized, clean, and properly maintained for daily operations. Take the lead in solving maintenance and repair issues as they arise at your designated carwash.
• Be an Extension of the Leadership Team:
  Communicate effectively with the Leadership Team. Ensure each Team Member at your designated carwash understands, feels connected to, and is aligned with the Sun Day mission and values and knows that they are a part of Sun Day’s success as the company evolves and grows.
• Engage With Community:
  Ensure Sun Day Carwash continues to be an outstanding member of the local community by proactively building a local network, deploying a local marketing plan and finding ways to serve the local community.
• Manage Site Administration:
  Set employee schedules in accordance with the labor model provided by the Leadership Team, publish schedules on time, order chemicals, manage inventory of towels, give-away items and other merchandise. Manage costs including chemicals, water, electricity and administrative expenses.

• Progressively successful employment history
• Successful leadership experience in building, developing and inspiring teams
• Successful track record growing revenue and managing costs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency using tools like email, calendar, Zoom and Slack
• Availability to work at least 40 hours per week and a varied, flexible schedule to meet business needs
• Ability to work outdoors on your feet for several hours at a time
