Position Overview
We are working alongside our client in the Ag-Tech sector to hire a Head of US Sales to lead the P&L, commercial growth, customer success, and overall business performance across one of the most important specialty crop markets globally.
The ClientOur client is a leading precision agriculture technology company that provides growers with advanced insights powered by aerial imagery, computer vision, and data analytics. Their platform helps fruit and tree crop producers improve operational efficiency, optimize yields, and make better agronomic and business decisions.
Location & TravelRegular travel throughout California, the Pacific Northwest, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, and other key fruit-producing regions.
The RoleResponsible for leading and scaling the US business, with full ownership of commercial performance, customer success, profitability, and regional growth strategy. This position will oversee the development of a high‑performing team while expanding market presence across key specialty crop sectors.
Responsibilities- Own and deliver regional revenue growth, profitability, and overall business performance
- Develop and execute the US market strategy across customer segments, crop types, and geographic regions
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing commercial and customer success team
- Drive new customer acquisition while maximizing retention and expansion within existing accounts
- Establish and maintain relationships with key growers, agribusinesses, and strategic partners
- Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, budgeting, and performance reporting
- Ensure exceptional customer delivery and operational execution across all accounts
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to align future platform development with market needs
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships to accelerate market growth
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements throughout the US
- 8+ years of commercial leadership experience within Ag‑Tech, agriculture, SaaS, or related technology sectors
- Proven track record of owning and delivering revenue targets and business growth objectives
- Experience managing P&L performance and driving profitability
- Strong leadership experience building, managing, and scaling teams
- Demonstrated success selling into enterprise customers and managing complex sales cycles
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate plans into measurable results
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Highly autonomous with strong ownership and accountability
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to long‑term value creation
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
- Specialty crop production systems, particularly fruit and tree crops
- Precision agriculture technologies, remote sensing, imagery, or data-driven farming solutions
- Enterprise SaaS business models and subscription-based revenue strategies
- Commercial operations across multiple agricultural regions
