The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is seeking a full-time Project Manager in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. This is an exempt position that reports to a Directing Attorney. This is a bargaining unit position represented by the National Legal Services Workers (NOLSW), Local 2320. This is a term-limited position through December 31, 2028, with the potential for renewal based on funding.
The ILRC currently has a hybrid work model requiring two in-office days per week.

The Project Manager’s primary goals are to ensure efficient and effective overall administration and management of a robust statewide program for which the ILRC serves as Program Administrator. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordination of regional partners, dissemination of information and resources, tracking and ensuring timely reporting and fiscal management, and maintaining effective communication systems. The specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Job Responsibilities:- Serve as primary point of contact for partners’ program managers, grant managers, and funders of specific programs
- Maintain current understanding of program goals and initiatives, focus areas, successes, and overall results to timely communicate to partners, funders, and other stakeholders effectively
- Engage proactively with partners on an ongoing basis to ensure accountability and timely completion and reporting of grant deliverables and program goals
- Monitor program progress on a regular basis and facilitate timely provision of necessary technical assistance to support partners in meeting their goals and fulfilling their reporting requirements
- Ensure internal ILRC coordination of various program components and alignment with other relevant ILRC projects.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions to ensure the program is responsive to community needs and leverages available resources and services.
- Plan and facilitate virtual and in-person events such as program meetings with partners and large scale convenings
- Participate in regular remote and in-person funder meetings
- Document meetings, decisions, and processes and maintain program files, including partner FAQs
- Engage ILRC programmatic staff to provide trainings or generate resources on identified topics and support tracking for program‑specific technical assistance and training including webinars, trainings, written resources, and partner calls
- Execute and maintain partner subgranting documents from drafting through execution, including scope of work, budget, and reporting forms
- Serve as a primary point of contact for communication between the ILRC, funders, and partner program managers and grant managers; triage and follow up on conversations as necessary
- Work collaboratively with finance and administrative teams to execute timely subgrant agreements and ensure payments to partners on schedule and within budget
- Maintain and update project directories and listservs
- Collect, track, review, analyze, and approve partner invoices and expense reports
- Facilitate and track subgrantee budget modifications
- Maintain, meet, and track deadlines
- Train and onboard partners on reporting requirements including Salesforce-based reporting portal
