Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled maintenance technician! The candidate will be required to service and maintain electro-mechanical equipment, including robotic washlines, autoclaves, boilers and various other facility equipment to support the site operations. This position requires a strong background in maintenance of production equipment, boilers, autoclaves and knowledge of the working operations of a medical waste processing center.

What You Will Do?

• Daily maintenance of equipment
• Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs
• Communicating with the Service and Engineering team to arrange spare parts, travel schedules and support
• Assemble, align, and install equipment and machine upgrades as necessary while adhering to timeline and budget
• Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
• Communicating with Plant Managers to arrange downtime to complete maintenance activities
• Reports each week of tasks completed & still to be completed.
• Remote service assistance to plants with issues, get them back in production as quickly as possible.
• Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
• Maintain Washsmart inventory in conjunction with plant management to ensure the plant is stocked effectively

Requirements

• Mechanical, experience in mechanical assemblies and production equipment
• Welding, experience with basic repair work
• Electrical, ability to identify and repair electrical issues and communicate fault conditions
• PLC, ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled machines, with telephone support

Starting pay rate is at $35 per hour
