Assistant General Manager, Cultivation

The Assistant Cultivation General Manager works closely with the Cultivation General Manager to provide operational leadership for all day-to-day cultivation activities at the site, and supports the cultivation staff with hands‑on leadership and manual labor as needed.

• Perform all duties of the Cultivation Technician III.
• Provide leadership and support to the cultivation team across propagation, cultivation and harvest.
• Coordinate production plans, schedules and daily tasks to keep flower production healthy and on schedule.
• Coordinate and implement plant maintenance, fertigation programs, and IPM; in close coordination with the IPM Manager and the GM, manage pest pressure using IPM and environmental control techniques.
• Coordinate cultivation protocols and fertilization program, including spray schedule and nutrient feeding schedule.
• Implement regular solutions to plant health issues.
• Maintain a clean, pest- and disease-free environment.
• Implement, train and perform all Track & Trace protocols.
• Maintain and perform regular checks on building infrastructure and equipment, schedule regular preventive maintenance, and work with internal personnel or contractors to fix breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum age of 21 years or older and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous agricultural, warehouse, manufacturing, or laborer experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts with varied hours/days, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Adherence to company mission, high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Ability to work flexibly across various sectors of the department as directed by supervisors.
• Problem‑identification skills for different strains or products and effective communication with supervisors.
• Basic understanding of cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state; a pursuit to further industry knowledge is appreciated.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability to changes in policy, procedure, methods and technique.
• Independent judgment regarding product processing while keeping quality, projections and goals in mind.
• Positive attitude and self‑motivation to produce high‑quality manicured product and meet or exceed personal and company goals.
• Ability to guide, motivate and challenge other team members to create a cohesive unit.
• Effective time management to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
• Ability to follow basic instructions and accept constructive criticism from managers.
• Understanding and implementation of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Willingness to learn and be guided in areas related to cultivation and any other relevant agricultural or plant knowledge.
• Skill in analyzing potential problems with plants or processed products.
• Self‑motivation, innovation and effective communication with all staff and supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned.
• 3+ years experience in cultivation or production management.
• Cannabis experience not required, but relevant agricultural or plant knowledge is required.
• Expertise in indoor cultivation and automated climate control indoor systems.

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00-$35.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

• Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.

• Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of the shift.
