We are seeking a reliable, highly organized Stockroom Coordinator for our food processing equipment manufacturing facility. In this role, you will manage all incoming parts and inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and timely material flow to support our fabrication and assembly teams.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving & Inspection: Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming parts, materials, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips. Identify discrepancies or damages, and resolve issues with suppliers or purchasing in a timely manner.
- Documentation & Tracking: Manage shipping and receiving paperwork (BOLs, packing slips, certificates of conformance, etc.). Track incoming shipments, backorders, and material availability.
- Inventory Management: Label and organize parts with correct job numbers, project identifiers, and location codes. Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
- Production Support: Pull and stage materials for fabricators and production teams according to job requirements and schedules.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, food‑grade stockroom environment and follow safety protocols.
- Shipping Support: Prepare outgoing shipments as necessary.
- Work in a smoke‑free environment.
- Wear steel‑toe shoes.
- Manually lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for up to 6 hours at a time.
- Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency.
- Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
- Problem‑solving and oral communication.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or inventory role, preferably in manufacturing or food equipment.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel/ERP) and ability to read technical drawings or BOMs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods; willingness to obtain forklift certification.
- Salary: $18 – $20 per hour.
- Shift: First.
- Work hours:
8 AM – 4 PM, Monday–Friday. - Education required:
