The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting and welding pre‑made parts to assemble stainless steel equipment. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high‑quality welds. The pay rate for this job is $20 - $24 / hour*

• Fit and weld stainless steel sheet metal, tubes, and pipes to assemble food processing equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper fitting and welding of components
• Cut tubular components as needed to meet assembly requirements
• Perform high‑quality TIG and/or MIG welding on stainless steel materials
• Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

1st Shift (Day)

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready
• Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Proficiency in TIG and/or MIG welding on stainless steel
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and fit tubular components
• Excellent attention to detail to maintain high‑quality weld standards
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Experience in food processing equipment manufacturing or a related industry, such as nut, dairy, brewery, or sanitary process equipment
• Knowledge of sanitary welding techniques and standards
• Background in precision stainless steel fabrication for industries requiring high‑quality welds
• Background check and drug test required
