The Decal Shop Artist is responsible for creating, editing, and producing high-quality decals, labels, and graphics for equipment, parts, and customer orders. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with graphic design software, and the ability to operate large format printers, plotters, and cutting equipment while ensuring production deadlines and quality standards are met.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Design and modify decals, labels, and graphics using Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar software. Monitor inventory levels on a weekly basis.
- Prepare artwork for printing and cutting.
- Operate large-format printers, vinyl cutters, laminators, and related equipment.
- Inspect finished decals for quality, color accuracy, and proper dimensions.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with other production or warehouse tasks as needed.
- Keep a clean work environment.
Skills required for this position:
- Experience operating Roland, Mimaki, HP, or Epson large-format printers.
- Knowledge of color matching and print quality standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of vinyl printing, cutting, and lamination processes.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
Compensation: $21.00 – $25.00
