Candidates should possess a strong working knowledge of the manufacturing industry, particularly in managing batch processes and handling hazardous liquid chemicals.

• Serve as the primary on‑site contact for procurement and production planning, troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as creating or modifying purchase orders and maintaining the Documented Work Process (DWP).
• Track production efficiency metrics, prepare reports, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Act as the Plant Buyer, managing MRP and raw material ordering.
• Maintain vendor relationships, label printing, and compliance with USEPA and EPRCA reporting.
• Update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and support year‑end inventory processes.
• Conduct cycle counting and monitor inventory levels for high‑moving products.
• Investigate production variances and enter adjustments in SAP.
• Provide backup support for the Director of Manufacturing and generate weekly reports on operations.
• Assist with warehouse and other operational functions as assigned.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Experience in procurement, inventory management, and production planning.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced understanding of safety protocols, including CAPA tools, lock‑out/tag‑out, confined space, and HAZMAT procedures.
• Familiarity with SOP, GMP, and chemical procurement standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross‑department collaboration.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze and interpret technical data.

• Deliver results aligned with defined standards and organizational goals.
• Drive inventory and SKU reduction initiatives to optimize operations.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.

• College degree, especially in chemistry, with a solid understanding of chemical processes.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $27 and $34 per hour. Salaries may vary by location. Additional rewards may include discretionary bonuses and/or equity awards.
