Pumper Loader Operator - Food Production
Pay: $21.23 per hour
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient unloading, pumping, storage, and loading of edible oils and finished products while maintaining quality, safety, and operational standards. Qualified candidates must be flexible and able to perform a variety of duties as assigned, including working any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
Candidates must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Unload railcars and tanker trucks according to established safety and quality procedures.
- Transfer and pump oils to designated storage tanks and packaging lines, ensuring product accuracy and traceability.
- Verify all product returns ("pour backs") are transferred to the appropriate designated tank.
- Load and unload finished goods, raw materials, and scrap trucks as required.
- Drive and model safety, GMP, environmental, and housekeeping standards
- Verify container seals and Certificates of Analysis (COA) prior to pumping operations.
- Apply and verify required seals on outgoing containers before release from the facility.
- Inspect railcars and tanker trucks to confirm they are empty and meet requirements before sealing and release.
- Accurately document additive additions and ensure proper placement of additives into designated tanks.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including weekly oil filter changes on assigned production lines.
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication, power washing, sample collection, and material handling.
- Operate a motorized forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete accurate loading, unloading, inventory, and operational documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Follow all food safety, quality, environmental, and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to boiler operations and related tasks, as assigned to support operational requirements.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
Technical

Basic computer and data-entry skills required.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights
