If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Consulting Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role will involve working on a variety of projects, utilizing a range of high-tech machinery to produce precision parts and components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine operation, quality control, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, machine programming, lathe operation, mill operation, and possess excellent mathematical and mechanical skills.

• 1. Operating and maintaining a variety of CNC machines to produce precision components.
• 2. Performing quality control checks to ensure all parts meet our high standards.
• 3. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• 4. Programming machines for specific tasks, ensuring maximum efficiency and accuracy.
• 5. Operating lathes and mills to produce parts as per specifications.
• 6. Utilizing mathematical skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• 7. Applying mechanical skills to assemble, disassemble and repair machinery.
• 8. Providing expert advice and consultation on complex machining projects.
• 9. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and implement innovative manufacturing processes.
• 10. Continually updating knowledge of new technology and machinery to improve production efficiency.

• 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• 2. Proven experience with CNC machine operation, lathe operation, and mill operation.
• 3. Strong knowledge of quality control processes and equipment maintenance.
• 4. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• 5. Proficiency in machine programming.
• 6. Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• 7. Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to assemble, disassemble, and repair machinery.
• 8. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• 9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• 10. A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• 11. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field or a machinist certification would be a plus.
