Physician Assistant​/Dermatology​/California​/Locum Tenens​/PA​/NP - Dermatology

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while rounding Dermatology patients at Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, and Assisted-Living facilities. Care will be limited to routine dermatological conditions. The NP/PA will place referrals for more complex dermatological conditions and higher-risk biopsy management to local dermatologists.

The NP/PA will perform assessments, and develop treatment plans for patients across various age groups. This role requires a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions and wellness strategies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using eClinical
  
  Works or similar electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification for California.
• Experience in Dermatology.
• Strong background in patient care with a focus on quality outcomes.
• Familiarity with eClinical
  
  Works or similar electronic health record systems is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
