Position: NICU Nurse (RN) | Fresno, California
Make an impact in the lives of newborns and their families by delivering high-quality nursing care in a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse specializing in NICU, you will work alongside a dedicated team supporting infants who require intensive medical attention.

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract role with variable shifts depending on department needs

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Level II or Level III NICU setting
• BLS and NRP certification required
• Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
• Compassionate communication style, especially with patients' families
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Carefully monitor, assess, and provide care for critically ill or premature newborns
• Administer medications, perform advanced procedures, and utilize specialized NICU equipment
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
• Educate and support families during emotionally challenging times
• Uphold infection control, patient safety, and hospital policy standards
