Working Hours / ShiftPer diem coverage needed for 12‑hour AM and/or NOC shifts (06:00–18:30 / 18:00–06:30). Coverage is as needed based on facility needs and the candidate’s availability. NOC shift includes a $2 differential.

- High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED, HiSET).
- Associate degree in nursing or social science field preferred.
- One year nursing experience required, preferably treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting (clinical nursing school rotations may be substituted).
- One year medication administration experience preferred.
- Valid California LVN or LPT license required.
- Provides direct nursing care and supervises the care provided by other nursing staff on the shift worked.
- Creates and executes written or oral shift assignments and plans, organizing and directing nursing activities of the unit, ensuring quality care delivery.
- Observes, documents, and reports the physical or mental condition of clients to the Program Manager and the attending physician or nurse practitioner.
- Orders, prepares, administers, and documents medication administration according to physicians’ or nurse practitioners’ orders.
- Confirms delivery of all ordered medication from pharmacy during the shift.
- Writes a weekly summary on clients as assigned.
- Monitors and maintains appropriate nursing documentation in the medical record.
24/7 inpatient voluntary program, 16‑bed facility for adults (ages 18‑59), offering rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services, pre‑vocational or vocational counseling, medication evaluation and support services.
