Licensed Vocational Nurse – Fresno/Madera, CA

Salary: $25–$30/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Our client, a nonprofit organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join their Fresno team. With over 600 clients supported across six program sites, they are known for creating inclusive opportunities that empower individuals to thrive in their communities.

This position is primarily administrative (90%), with limited direct care responsibilities—ideal for an LVN looking to leverage their medical expertise in a team-focused, mission-driven setting. New grads are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do:
  • Write and maintain Restrictive Health Care Plans for new clients.
  • Educate program staff on topics such as diabetes care, infection control, lifting safety, and more.
  • Train team members prior to a new client’s first day.
  • Perform bi-annual audits on healthcare plans and medication records.
  • Support the proper use of medical equipment including catheters, feeding tubes, and syringes.
  • Communicate regularly with families, case managers, CVRC, physicians, and internal teams.
What You Bring:
  • Current California LVN license.
  • 2+ years of LVN experience preferred—new graduates are welcome.
  • High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record and reliable transportation.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (within 6 months of hire).
  • Completion of fingerprinting, TB test, and physical on first day of employment.
