$32.00 – $34.00 USD per hour

Fresno, CA

Working Hours / Shift

Every Wednesday,  (NOC/Overnight) with $2 NOC shift differential

What You Bring
  • High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSET, etc.) required
  • Associate degree in nursing or social science field preferred
  • One (1) year nursing experience required, preferably treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting. (Clinical nursing school rotations may be substituted for a portion of work experience.)
  • One (1) year medication administration experience preferred
  • Valid California LVN or LPT license required
How You Will Make a Difference

Provides direct nursing care and supervises same provided by all nursing staff on the shift worked.

Makes written or oral shift assignments and plans, organizes, and directs the nursing activities of the unit, assuring quality care delivery.

Visually and audibly observes, documents in writing, and reports orally or in writing the physical or mental condition to the Program Manager and the attending physician or nurse practitioner.

Orders, prepares, administers, and documents the administration of medication for clients according to physicians’ or nurse practitioners’ orders.

Confirms delivery of all ordered medication from pharmacy on shift worked.

Responsible for writing a weekly summary on clients as assigned.

Monitors and maintains appropriate nursing documentation in the medical record for shift worked.

Division / Program Overview

24/7 inpatient voluntary program, 16‑bed facility for adults (ages 18‑59) offering rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services, pre‑vocational or vocational counseling, medication evaluation and support services.
