Full Time: 11AM-7PM (NOC), Rotating 4 days on/2 days off
- $26–$27/hour based on experience

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. The CNA provides direct care to patients (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.) as directed by the RN or LVN in charge. The CNA always maintains patient comfort and safety, follows all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards, and adheres to the facility’s Core Values and mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person.

PrincipalDuties
- Perform personal care services within the framework of the resident’s activities of daily living and functional abilities.
- Document all information pertaining to each assigned resident on each shift accurately and timely, including meal percentages, intake and output recordings, and report changes in resident condition, incidents, injuries, or skin integrity issues immediately to the charge nurse.
- Assist in transportation of residents to and from activities, meals, and therapy as indicated.
- Participate in all required and mandatory in‑services and any additional in‑service programs, demonstrating full knowledge of all policies and procedures and the ability to perform duties accurately and timely. Meet all state requirements for recertification, submit required documentation, and ensure timely certification renewal.
- Work as a team player, consistently assisting other staff members when help is needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Our ideal candidate will be reliable, follow safety procedures, and perform duties assigned by a supervisor.
- Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Competency Program with current certification in the state of California.
- Minimum of one year experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Current CPR certification.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, and squatting for approximately 90% of the work day. Must be able to transport residents via wheelchair or shower chair, pushing up to generally 200 lbs. Must be able to transfer, turn and position a resident generally weighing up to 125 lbs. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs; if lifting over 35 lbs, assistance is required.
Occasionally push or pull wheeled carts and equipment generally weighing up to 200 lbs. May be exposed to communicable diseases including HIV and Hepatitis B, industrial and household chemicals, offensive odors, and combative behavior.
