- Educated and currently certified/licensed in California and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification required
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Ability to work standing and sitting for up to 2 to 4 hours per day each
- Ability to bend and twist the neck for 1 to 2 hours per day
- Frequent hand and finger movements with precise coordination
- Ability to squat, crouch, or sit on heels occasionally
- Ability to lift 15 lbs. routinely, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
- Hearing acuity essential
- Correctable near and far vision and color perception/discrimination
- Ability to communicate and understand spoken information
- Ability to work independently and follow oral or written instructions
- Ability to perform varied tasks under changing conditions
- Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
- Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and temperatures below 32°F
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment
