Retirement Technician I
The Fresno County Employees' Retirement Association (FCERA) invites applications for the position of Retirement Technician I. Incumbents perform technical work involving the application of the County Employees Retirement Law (CERL), California Public Employees' Pension Reform Act (PEPRA), and department policies and procedures to audit member accounts, perform service purchase and other pension-related calculations, investigate system-generated notifications, process retirement payroll, and other pension-related duties.
Responsibilities- Apply the County Employees Retirement Law (CERL), California Public Employees' Pension Reform Act (PEPRA), and department policies and procedures.
- Audit member accounts.
- Perform service purchase and other pension-related calculations.
- Investigate system-generated notifications.
- Process retirement payroll.
- Perform other pension-related duties as assigned.
- Possession of a valid class "C" driver's license, or equivalent, may be required.
Positions in this classification are in Medical Group I - Light Physical Activity. This group includes positions which require only light physical effort and may include lifting of small, light objects and some bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching. Considerable walking or standing may be involved.
