Job-Type:

Full-Time Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Full-Time employees receive our comprehensive compensation package which includes 100% employer paid Medical insurance with by‑up options for your dependents. The pay range for this position is $paid hourly, offers will be based on the successful candidate's experience.

and Responsibilities

The QA Specialist I provides administrative and technical support for the laboratory quality system and QA/QC Program.

Duties include:

  • Support the QA Manager with implementation of the laboratory QA/QC Program.
  • Maintain the calibration program by tracking and distributing reference materials, scheduling daily, quarterly, and annual calibrations, reviewing completion, assessing accuracy, maintaining records, and assisting laboratory staff as needed.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment records, including equipment IDs, locations, use status, and related documentation.
  • Support corrective action reporting by monitoring progress, deadlines, and completion status.
  • Support document control by creating and tracking logbooks, managing quality documents, forms, and records, and monitoring SOP review and revision deadlines.
  • Assist with administration of the Proficiency Testing (PT) sample program.
  • Support internal audits by reviewing routine quality records, verifying standard and reagent traceability, and reporting discrepancies to QA staff.
  • Maintain QA records, archives, and electronic or hardcopy files in an organized, secure, and readily retrievable manner.
  • Provide additional support to the QA Manager and Supervisor as assigned.

Minimum associates degree or college classes; 2 years applicable experience; 7 year’s experience can substitute for degree.
